Avanta Ventures, the corporate venture capital arm of CSAA Insurance Group, aims to reimagine the future of insurance through engagement and investment in ground-breaking US-based startups and entrepreneurs. The firm also operates Avanta Studios, an accelerator for pre-seed companies, helping them achieve product-market fit and initial institutional financing. Founded in 2017 with a $75M Fund I, Avanta launched a $225M Fund II in 2022, bringing total AUM to over $300M. As of early 2024, the firm began winding down new investments while continuing to manage its existing portfolio.
