Beacon Angels

Beacon Angels is a Boston-based angel group whose motto is 'Investors Helping Entrepreneurs.' Founded in 2006, the group invests $50,000–$400,000 per round in early-stage, fast-growing companies headquartered in New England. Members are accredited investors who provide not only capital but also shared experiences and strategic relationships to help portfolio companies scale toward high-multiple exits. Beacon targets companies with a foreseeable exit strategy, competitive barriers to entry, significant third-party buy-in from customers or investors, and a pre-money valuation of $4–$16 million or less. The group prefers convertible notes over SAFEs and focuses on sectors including biotechnology, medical devices, software, AI, fintech, cybersecurity, robotics, and healthcare services. Since founding, Beacon has delivered exits ranging from 0.5× to 8×, returning several millions of dollars to member investors.
