Better Tomorrow Ventures (BTV) is an early-stage, fintech-focused fund that leads pre-seed and seed rounds in fintech companies globally, with check sizes of $500k–$4m and $450m in AUM. Founded by experienced operators — NerdWallet co-founder Jake Gibson and serial fintech entrepreneur Sheel Mohnot — BTV takes a broad view of fintech, encompassing payments, banking-as-a-service, insurance, lending, compliance, and vertical SaaS with a financial layer. The firm believes 'financial technology will create a better tomorrow' and that 'the massive digitization opportunity is still ahead of us,' with AI poised to transform labor-intensive financial services functions such as underwriting, compliance, fraud detection, and accounting.
