BStartup is Banco Sabadell's evergreen corporate venture vehicle and the pioneer financial partner for startups and scaleups in Spain, combining specialised banking services with direct equity investment. Through its BStartup 10 programme, it invests up to €200,000 per company annually in more than 10 early-stage digital and technology startups across all sectors — primarily B2B but also B2C — seeking highly committed teams with a global vision, a strong technical or scientific foundation, a product-driven mindset, and the ability to execute quickly. BStartup focuses in particular on software and AI projects where technology is the main driver of innovation, helping solve pressing business-world problems and transforming industry value chains. It also runs two specialist verticals — BStartup Health (biotech, medtech, e-health) and BStartup Green (energy transition, Industry 4.0, smart cities, circular economy) — and is consolidating a new 'AI to Business' vertical for deep-tech and AI projects with B2B or B2B2C models. Follow-on capacity of up to €2M per company is available through Sabadell Venture Capital.
