Chingona Ventures invests in industries that are massively changing and founders whose backgrounds uniquely position them to create businesses in growth markets that are often overlooked. Focus areas are in financial technology, future of work, future of learning, and health technology. The firm primarily invests in pre-seed companies where they are raising their first institutional round of capital, with initial check sizes between $250k-$2MM. The fund invests in businesses catering to the massive generational and demographic shift occurring in the U.S., which will ultimately upend how consumers spend money, use products, manage their health, and engage with society. Chingona Ventures takes an orthogonal approach to investing, working to find entrepreneurs who may not fit the 'pattern recognition' inherent in the venture industry, intentionally removing bias in the deal sourcing and selection process.
