Climate VC

Climate VC is a UK-based S/EIS fund that backs elite founding teams building solutions to decarbonise the economy and daily life. The fund's thesis holds that every aspect of how we grow food, move around, generate electricity, and make things must be transformed — and that bold, early-stage founders are the ones to ignite that change. Climate VC puts impact first, seeking startups for whom generating revenue means dramatically reducing carbon emissions in their sector, while still targeting strong financial returns for investors. The fund aims to back 100–120 high-potential UK climate startups and enable at least 10 to become major successes, each removing 10 megatonnes of CO₂e annually over ten years — contributing to a collective gigatonne of avoided emissions by the mid-2030s. It invests across carbon removals, clean energy, food systems, mobility, manufacturing, climate finance, and nature restoration, with a global reach extending beyond the UK into Latin America, Africa, and Asia wherever large-scale decarbonisation impact is possible.
