Columbia Lake Partners is an experienced team of investors providing growth loans to European technology companies. Founded in 2014 with the idea of helping founders scale their businesses in a less dilutive way than only using equity, CLP has committed over $800m to more than 90 companies. The firm's approach is to take a 'light touch' with no board seats, light covenants, and standard reporting. CLP uses a transparent and collaborative approach combined with a persistent curiosity to find ways to support high-growth technology businesses across the UK and Europe. The firm funds €2-€20 million and will partner with others to write larger cheques, investing from a long-term committed fund with $300 million of financing capacity.
