Deeptech Labs is a Cambridge-based VC fund and accelerator — 'the catalyst for deeptech success' — that invests £100k–£350k in a small number of Seed-stage deep tech companies with established technology, extraordinary teams, and strong initial traction. Founded in partnership with Arm, Cambridge Innovation Capital, and the University of Cambridge, it runs intensive 10-week cohort programmes twice a year, embedding startups in a network of 50+ world-class deep tech leaders, exited founders, and over 280 active corporate and venture investors. The firm's mission is to transform breakthrough scientific discoveries into globally scalable, category-defining companies, preparing entrepreneurs for their Series A journey as they move from prototype and proof of concept to scalable products and services. It focuses on the observation that 'many technologies fail to be widely deployed due to strategically ill-judged early decisions,' and addresses this by pairing capital with expert practitioners who have successfully commercialised deep technology.
