MAINstream (Michelmores Angel Investor Network)

MAINstream is a UKBAA-registered angel investor network established by Michelmores LLP in 2019 to accelerate the growth and diversity of angel investing, with a particular focus on high-growth, early-stage companies based in or with a clear connection to the South West of England and Cheltenham. With over 90 members across two networks (MAINstream South West and MAINstream Cheltenham), the network connects experienced entrepreneur-investors — many of whom have started, scaled, and exited their own businesses — with innovative startups, providing both capital and hands-on mentorship. The network welcomes applications from companies across all sectors, with a preference for SEIS- and EIS-qualifying businesses, and holds five pitch events per year where shortlisted companies present to the investor membership.
