ONAMI (Oregon Nanoscience and Microtechnologies Institute)

ONAMI is Oregon's first signature research center dedicated to commercializing scientific research into successful new Oregon companies. The organization focuses on Oregon science-based startups with high growth potential, particularly those commercializing deep technology innovations in electronic and optical materials and components, biomedical technologies and devices, and other industrial sectors. ONAMI provides executive leadership, market research, team building, financial planning and investment raising from the earliest stages. The Center of Innovation Excellence Collaborative Fund makes pre-seed and seed stage equity investments, typically as SAFEs, convertible notes or restricted stock purchases, with investments of $50-100K. ONAMI's investment strategy prioritizes companies with substantial growth prospects engaged in pioneering technologies across sectors including semiconductors, advanced materials, medical devices, precision agriculture, life sciences, diagnostics, pharmaceuticals, digital health, energy generation and storage, robotics, sensors and optics.
