Sabvest Capital (Sabcap) is a JSE-listed investment holding company whose primary focus is owning a portfolio of significant equity interests in listed and unlisted companies — primarily in the industrial, services, IT, and financial sectors — with sound growth records or potential for above-average returns over the long term. Sabcap does not invest in start-ups, greenfield projects, or turnarounds; instead it favours large or influential minority stakes (typically 10–40% equity) in unlisted small/mid-cap companies, usually co-invested alongside family shareholders, operating management, or chosen financial partners in accordance with its 'Partnership Principle'. Sabcap holds its investments without pre-determined realisation periods and structures each investment to be free-standing and ring-fenced as to risk, while also maintaining a secondary portfolio of cash, bonds, listed equities, and fund participations when surplus liquidity is available.
