Science Inc. is a Los Angeles-based venture capital firm and startup studio that funds, develops, and advises companies focused on solving the everyday problems of modern living. The firm identifies entrenched markets and societal shifts, then invests in disruptive companies with new ideas and highly focused teams — spanning mobile, marketplaces, e-commerce, consumer tech, beverages, fintech, and blockchain. Science operates a hybrid model: its Science Studio incubates ideas in-house (providing marketing, technology, business, and finance expertise to lower startup costs), while Science Ventures makes seed and early-stage follow-on investments in external consumer companies. A Rolling Fund extends the firm's reach into Series B and beyond, accessible to accredited investors on a quarterly subscription basis. Since founding in 2011, Science has co-founded and invested in more than 60 companies, with portfolio exits exceeding $5 billion, including Dollar Shave Club (acquired by Unilever for $1B) and Liquid Death (unicorn at $1.4B valuation).
