Silicon Valley Social Venture Fund (SV2)

SV2 is a community of values-aligned donors deeply committed to equity-centered social impact through collaborative grantmaking, impact investing, and immersive learning. SV2 makes investments in early-stage companies with social or environmental impact at the core of their business model, with a particular focus on allocating capital to founders from underrepresented backgrounds. SV2 seeks three types of return: social or environmental impact, financial return, and 'return on learning' — as Partners learn by doing, hearing pitches, conducting diligence, and allocating SV2's pooled capital across sectors including climate, education, and economic opportunity.
