Susquehanna Growth Equity was founded in 2006 to create a different kind of growth equity investor: a firm that itself is funded by entrepreneurs who understand the highs and lows of the journey ahead of every founder. SGE is exclusively focused on growth-stage software, services, internet, and information services companies. All capital comes from Susquehanna International Group, one of the world's largest privately-held financial services firms, enabling the firm to have no fixed time horizons and not be subject to the vagaries of the private equity fundraising cycle. This allows SGE to be flexible in the types of deals it does, the securities it holds, and the risks it takes, providing 'liquidity as a service' – capital for growth, acquisitions, or shareholder liquidity, over multiple tranches with no fixed time horizons. The firm has invested over $5 billion in 100+ market-leading technology and services companies over the last 19 years.
