System.One

System.One is an intentionally lean, solo-GP pre-seed fund based in Berlin with a global mindset and reach. Its purpose is to invest in exceptional founders who combine early technical ideas with a bold mission and major technical impact — writing the very first check into companies before there is a product, traction, or often even a clear idea. Pre-seed means getting in first: product and tech risk are core to what the fund does, not a problem it seeks to eliminate. System.One's philosophy is rooted in the belief that early-stage venture capital at its best should mirror the qualities of the best founders: judgment over process, conviction over consensus, art over standardization. The portfolio is deliberately concentrated, and the fund is intentionally lean — working directly with a small number of deeply engaged commitments to maintain a high degree of alignment and trust with founders at the inception stage.
