BOM is the regional development agency for the Dutch province of Noord-Brabant, backed by the Province of Noord-Brabant and the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs. Beyond direct equity and convertible loan investments, BOM also invests in over 40 external venture funds (fund-of-funds) and operates Venture Development programmes—including VC Readiness and Game Set Match—to help founders reach product-market fit and investment readiness. With over 40 years of activity, more than €417 million in committed capital, fund assets approaching €1 billion, and a network of 150+ co-investors, BOM describes itself as one of the most active startup investors in the Netherlands.
