VamosVentures is a Los Angeles-based early-stage venture capital fund on a mission to create alpha and impact by funding visionary founders—particularly from Latinx and other diverse backgrounds—who are building disruptive tech solutions. The firm believes that diverse teams, defined as having at least one co-founder from an underrepresented background, deliver better outcomes and stronger returns, and that only ~2% of VC dollars going to Latinx founders represents a significant market inefficiency and 'greenfield' opportunity. VamosVentures invests primarily at the pre-seed, seed, and Series A stages across four sectors: Health & Wellness, FinTech, Future of Work, and Sustainability—markets where the firm sees both substantial financial opportunity and meaningful societal impact. Fund I closed at $50M and Fund II targets $100M (hard cap $150M), with 80% early-stage focus and 40% of each fund reserved for follow-on investments.
