Ada Ventures is a pre-seed inclusive venture capital firm that invests in the best founders, not just the best-connected. The firm backs European founders — primarily in the UK and Northern Europe — building businesses for a better human future, writing cheques of £250k–£1m before clear signs of product-market fit. Ada leads more than 70% of its investments and backs 10–12 companies per year, assessing founders on their qualities rather than CV, past work experience, or gut feel. Ada's investment philosophy, which it calls Inclusive Alpha®, embeds inclusion at every stage of the investment process — from structure and strategy to sourcing, selection, and support — in the belief that this drives best-in-class financial returns alongside positive societal impact. The firm focuses on three thematic areas: Climate Equity (technologies enabling a fair net-zero future), Economic Empowerment (inclusively transforming money, work, and skills), and Healthy Ageing (enabling healthier lives for longer).
