Underline Ventures partners at the earliest stages (pre-seed, seed, late seed) with Eastern European founders building high-growth startups with global ambitions. The firm is Eastern Europe's first solo-GP, private-only VC fund, backed entirely by tech founders and operators from UiPath, Telerik, Bitdefender, and other regional successes, and explicitly rejects 'spray-and-pray' investing in favor of a concentrated, deterministic approach designed to compete with top European seed funds. Underline believes founders should be in control of the company they are building. The fund helps founders define the right strategy, milestones, and priorities on their journey from seed to Series A, connects them with capital and talent, and aligns its interests for the long term while providing a needed critical view. With an average cheque of ~$500k and a €20M Fund I, the firm targets 20+ portfolio companies and focuses on sectors including enterprise automation, AI, cybersecurity, industrial tech, defense, and climate.
